

Take a walk along the beautiful and historic waterfront of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, where you’ll get to learn about the town’s unique history. All over the waterfront, there are plaques with stories of old Yarmouth walk around and learn new about the most interesting points of Yarmouth.
The Harbourfront Museum, and Yarmouth Peddler’s Shop , are located in the Killam Brothers building which happens to be only a short walk from the International Ferry Terminal. The building in which the museum resides in is an old shipping office from the early 1800s. There is still a section regarding the Killam Brothers and has a remake of what the original shipping office would have looked like. The building also houses the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere Interpretive Centre.
